All the below rule come under Lunatic Insane Asylum Radio Terms Of Use,
breaking any of these could result in a formal warning or Deletetion.
All Staff are expected to be joined the staff Private facebook group
All DJ's must be on YIM Messenger or Skype while DJing so you are contactable
Playing non stop music may only be used for a MAX of 15mins
Any staff member found to abuse their power will be warned and risk having it revoked
In the Timetable flexible slots you may only book 3slots in a row
Each song can only be played once per timeslot, no more than 2 songs in a row from the same artists
and no more than 4 from the same artists or album in the same timeslot,
You must use your Microphone regularly and it must be clear and balanced at the same volume as your music.
Only the Admin can book you Dj slot.
All songs must be correctly named
If you are obtaining a song for a listners whilst on air please DO NOT mention the service you
are using to obtain your music, as this could gget you in trouble with licencers, instead use phrases like:
- "Im just uploaded that song to my broadcaster now"
- "I'll have a look through my collection for that song"
- "That song is coming soon for you"
If you cant get hold of the song use phrases like:
- "I will do my best to get that song played for you in my next show"
- "Sorry I dont have enough time to play your request
Don't play songs with racial/slander towards a minority groups.
Never Disconnect from the radio before the end of your slot without a valid reason
If no one is booked 15mins before the end of your slot and you know you have to go
ask all current DJ's who are online if they can cover
We ask all DJ's to do a MIN of 2 Hours Broadcasting per week
Unless a valid reason can be reported to admin
To Book fixed slots you must do so by asking a member of the admin team, If you cannot make a fixed slot post it on the Staff Facebook Page and ask for another member of staff to cover you slot. If you dont inform us you may be faced with a warning
